In designing the public areas at The Twenty Two, Natalia sought to create spaces that unfold like a story – layered, expressive, and full of quiet drama. The lobby sets the tone with its bold limestone and cabochon slate floor, while the Vault Bar offers a more intimate mood, with its pitched ceiling and striped fabric nodding to a military-style tent. Inspired by the refined elegance of Château de Malmaison, we brought together French Empire influences with contemporary touches: embroidered silks, sculptural lighting, and bespoke hand-painted wallcoverings. These spaces were designed not just to impress, but to welcome – a place where curiosity, conversation, and comfort naturally come together.
