This year marks the 20th anniversary of Art Basel Miami Beach. Known for its bold contemporary art as well as the over-the-top parties, Art Basel brings together over 4000 artists from across the globe. This year’s Art Basel was as expansive and adventuresome (if overwhelming!). Some of my personal favourites were at Fredric Snitzer Gallery where I bought a beautifully coloured piece by Assume Vivid Astro Focus.

Art Basel isn’t the only show in town. Design Miami, Untitled and many satellite exhibitions dot the city. Design Miami was fantastic, with a variety of beautiful pieces in many distinct mediums. I found a cool table in wood and hand painted tile from a Mexican gallery called AGO Projects. I love discovering new places to source special pieces for my projects.
